Większość wpadła jednym uchem, a drugim wypadła. Na początku roku jeszcze nadrabiałem rok 2008, w dużej mierze słuchałem kompletów (Bert, Schifrin, Barry, Black Sabbath i in.). Niekwestionowanym zwycięzcą zostały na pewno soundtracki do 007 — to mam wciąż na wciąż odsłuchiwanych kasetach. (Obecnie — najlepsza muzyka świata ever). Myślałem, że nie uda mi się zebrać moich najważniejszych płyt 2009, ale kilka takich było. Nie będzie klasyczne top 10, bo wybór byłby nieco naciągany, owszem, wydali swoje płyty Eels, Sonic Youth, Built To Spill, Appleseed Cast, a nawet And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead — ale nie zawitali oni na długo. Zatem w grę wchodzą płyty, których rzeczywiście słuchałem, słuchałem, zostały i pewnie zostaną "na kasetach". A więc:

I małe uzasadnienie.
Cymbals Eat Guitars i Japandroids bez wątpliwości — najbardziej odjazdowy rock, w takiej wersji nie wzbudzał we mnie tyle entuzjazmu od czasu Pavement. Jak wciąż zdarza mi się sięgnąć po Cows i innych klasyków lat 90. XX wieku, to są najlepsze przykłady udanego naśladowania najbardziej słusznej tradycji.

Obecność Lily Allen nie powinna dziwić, najlepszy disco-rockowy numer roku (The Fear), nawet w rozpisce w EiS, z pewnością będzie w podsumowaniach roku, płyta bezkonfliktowa, rasowy pop pod strzechy. Tutaj dołączę wątek Franz Ferdinand, który dla mnie oczywiście "się skończył", ale przyłapałem się na tym, że w chwilach muzyki potrzebnej na tło ogólne włączałem właśnie ich. W sumie niezłe disco w stylu lat 70., nadaje się też jako podkład do oglądania porno.

O Sister Suvi już pisałem onegdaj, zjawisko raczej wyjątkowe (in plus), zaś Bill Callahan nieco spadł z notowania, bo w końcu ja nagrywam taką płytę, więc moja jest ważniejsza. Dinosaur Jr. to jednak pewien mini-szał, że jak na dziadków potrafią takie brzmienie wyciągnąć, naturalna swojskość i energia pozostały. Pozazdrościć klasy, wytrwałości i pozostania przy swojej koncepcji.

Devendra Banhart dostał nominację awansem, bo to wszystko powtórka z rozrywki, ale Pyszczku lubi, więc często słuchany okazał się być słuchalny bez zastrzeżeń.

Reszta w ramach pewnej pamięci, jednak, (że byli, że warto) The Von Bondies za zasługi, Mulatu Astatke za odkrycie roku (dla mnie), Noah And The Whale za tegoroczną wersję The National (czyli moja płyta, rozumicie), Yo La Tengo bo zawsze warto ich słuchać (vide tegoroczne Sonic Youth, ha!).

Wojt i JZTZ bez komentarza, ale jednak z. Bo wielokrotnie na uszach, więc zdążyłem zapamiętać, bo to mój wkład w muzykę rozrywkową (oraz prywatna wizja kosmosu), bo to jedna dobra płyta i kilka znakomitych kilerów. Reszta się nie zna.
